Description

We have an opportunity available for a Surveyor to join our Green Team in Hamilton. As a Surveyor, you’ll support the planning and delivery of civil construction and infrastructure projects. You’ll work across both field and office environments, providing accurate survey data that helps teams build with confidence. This role suits someone who enjoys technical work, problem solving, and being hands on with projects from early planning through to delivery.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Carry out land and engineering surveys to support construction activities
  • Collect, verify, and record survey data including levels, boundaries, and set outs
  • Prepare sketches, plans, maps, and survey documentation
  • Interpret design drawings and convert them into accurate field layouts
  • Use CAD and Civil 3D to create models and update survey information
  • Maintain surveying equipment and ensure data accuracy at all times

What You’ll Bring to the Role:
  • Bachelor of Surveying or equivalent tertiary qualification
  • Practical experience in land or engineering surveying
  • Strong working knowledge of CAD and Civil 3D
  • Full Class 1 driver licence
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of people
  • A careful, organised approach with strong attention to detail
