Description

Play a critical role at the heart of payroll accuracy, system optimisation and workforce scalability across Fletcher Building, one of Australasia’s largest and most complex organisations.

We’re looking for an experienced Time & Attendance (T&A) / Payroll Systems Leader to own, evolve and optimise our ANZ T&A platforms—working closely with Payroll, Finance, Technology and Operational leaders to ensure compliant, reliable and future fit systems.

What you’ll be doing
  • Lead and optimise ANZ T&A systems and integrations
  • Own system performance, stability, compliance and payroll readiness
  • Partner with Payroll, Finance, FletcherTech and business units to shape T&A strategy
  • Manage system enhancements, upgrades and process improvements end to end
  • Oversee user support, vendor relationships and service delivery outcomes
  • Lead system testing, UAT, documentation and production releases
  • Standardise T&A practices across Australia and New Zealand
  • Drive data led insights through reporting and dashboards
  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of 8 technical and functional analysts

Key systems & tools
(Don’t worry if you don’t have them all — strong transferable experience matters most)
  • T&A / Workforce Management system
  • Payroll system integrations (ANZ environments)
  • SQL for analysis and troubleshooting
  • Power BI, Domo or Qlik Sense reporting
  • Jira / Confluence or similar delivery tools
  • Experience with Chris21, Workforce Software, UKG Dimensions or biometric clocks highly regarded

What you’ll bring
With over five years of experience in T&A and Payroll Systems, you bring a robust track record of delivering system changes, enhancements, and integrations. Your leadership and team development skills are proven, complemented by solid project delivery and stakeholder management capabilities. You possess a strong analytical mindset with advanced Excel proficiency, and are confident working with both technical and non-technical audiences. Your calm, structured, and solutions-focused approach enables you to navigate complex environments effectively.
