About the Position

We are looking for an energetic and successful Production Team Leader to join us at Townsville - This site is a 24/5 operating business. In this position, you will be responsible for playing a hands-on role in supervising a small team. You will assist in all production activities through effective support, coaching, and working alongside your people to help us achieve our business growth goals.  To be successful you will have experience in leading teams within a Production environment and be able to demonstrate a good mechanical & technical aptitude.

We take Quality and Safety seriously at Iplex so you must ensure that all aspects of EH&S compliance are constantly met and adhered to. We want to see your energy, personality and commitment every day you are at work! This is the ideal role if you are wanting to take a step in your carer and take on additional responsibilities as a growing leader!  

Ideal Skills & Experience 
  • Previous experience as a team leader in a production environment 
  • Exceed expectations with driving a positive safety culture on site
  • Ability to forward plan, forecast, and problem-solve issue
  • Confident in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
  • You are a natural team player and not afraid of hard work
  • Good attention to detail and can make accurate and quick decisions
  • Personable and approachable
  • Must be able to work a rotating DAY/NIGHT Roster across a 24/7 business
  • Ideally hold a Forklift License - preferred
