More About Your New Role

As a Technical Product Advisor, based in Dandenong you will play an important role within a small, collaborative technical marketing team, partnering closely with colleagues across Product, Sales and Engineering. This role sits within the Marketing function and acts as a key connection point between technical expertise and customer facing teams. In this role you will be the first point of contact for technical product support, providing clear, practical advice to a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders including builders, architects, engineers, certifiers and sales teams. 

Working closely with internal engineers and product testers, as well as external laboratories and testing bodies, you will help ensure products are correctly specified, compliant and performing as intended. A strong focus of the role is supporting product performance, compliance and continuous improvement, particularly as new products are developed or existing ranges evolve. You will contribute to technical documentation, specifications and reporting, while confidently managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

Skills and Experience 
  • Tertiary Qualification in engineering, building, technical related field or similar 
  • Understanding of compliance requirements, including National Contraction Code & Australian Standards
  • Exposure to product testing and confident in engaging external testing laboratories 
  • Excellent in Technical communication, able to translate complex information into clear guidance 
  • Proven skills in stake holder engagement and working collaboratively with different parties to get desired business outcomes
  • High attention to detail and process driven, with the ability to shift priorities as required 
  • Well developed admin and reporting skills with excellent attention to detail
