About the Role
The New Zealand market is fast paced and constantly evolving, requiring exceptional relationship building skills and the ability to connect confidently from frontline teams to senior decision makers. 

As our Territory Manager for the rural sector, you will represent Iplex across a region spanning Timaru North through to Nelson. This role is ideal for a sales or account management professional who thrives on becoming a trusted business partner—someone who understands customer needs and delivers practical, value adding solutions that set us apart. 

You will work closely with our core agricultural retailers and irrigation merchants throughout the region. Drawing on the depth of product and industry expertise within Iplex, you’ll confidently share product knowledge, engage with direct and end customers, and build strong, long term partnerships that support rural communities.

You’ll be responsible for:
  • Achieving sales budget and plans, encompassing pricing negotiations, order management and promotions
  • Deliver product training presentations and merchandising resources to support our channel partners
  • Understand the market dynamics and identify opportunities for sales growth with existing and new partners

About You
While industry experience is a natural advantage, what matters most is your ability to build genuine relationships, your willingness to learn, and your visible passion for helping customers succeed. A trade or tertiary qualification is beneficial but not essential—what counts is your drive and your commitment to delivering great outcomes for the rural sector.  You will also need to travel regularly, typically every second week, with overnight stays of around two nights at a time.
