About the role

As a Traffic Management Operative, you will manage and direct traffic safely around road construction and maintenance sites and perform labouring tasks. Working a minimum of 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday between 6am-6pm), with flexibility to work additional hours/days as required, you will be responsible for:
 
  • Setting up and maintaining traffic control equipment to ensure the safety of both workers and the public
  • Maintaining and ensuring plant and equipment are operational
  • Operating plant and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Completing documentation accurately and on time
  • Communicating professionally with the team and community

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Safety-first attitude for yourself, your team, and the public
  • Restricted or Full NZ Driver’s License Class 1
  • Traffic management experience and certifications is beneficial
  • Pride in your work and commitment to quality
  • Reliable, punctual, and motivated
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High level of physical fitness
  • Team-oriented mindset
