About the role

As a Traffic Management Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring safety and compliance on roadwork sites. Working a minimum of 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday between 6am-6pm), with flexibility to work additional hours/days as required, you will be responsible for:

  • Reading Traffic Management Plans (TMP) and load trucks
  • Maintaining and ensuring plant and equipment are operational
  • Operating plant and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Completing documentation accurately and on time
  • Communicating professionally with the team and stakeholders


What you’ll bring to the role

  • A safety-first attitude – for yourself, your team and the public
  • Restricted or Full New Zealand Driver’s License Class 1 is essential
  • TMO licence is beneficial
  • Reliability, punctuality, and motivation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High level of physical fitness
  • Team oriented mindset
