About the role

As a Traffic Management Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring safety and compliance on roadwork sites. Working a minimum of 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday between 6am-6pm), with flexibility to work additional hours/days as required, you will be responsible for:

Reading Traffic Management Plans (TMP) and load trucks
Maintaining and ensuring plant and equipment are operational
Operating plant and equipment safely and efficiently
Completing documentation accurately and on time
Communicating professionally with the team and stakeholders

What you’ll bring to the role

A safety-first attitude – for yourself, your team and the public
Restricted or Full New Zealand Driver’s License Class 1 is essential
TMO licence is beneficial
Reliability, punctuality, and motivation
Excellent communication skills
High level of physical fitness
Team oriented mindset
