About the role:  
Due to an internal secondment, we have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Treasury Manager to join us on a 3-month fixed term contract. 

As a Treasury Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in managing the risk management activities of the Group including funding, FX, interest rate and commodities.  This is your chance to get your "foot in the door" and make a significant impact in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the centralised funding and risk management activities for the Group. 
  • Manage transactional banking arrangements across NZ, Australia, and the Pacific Islands.
  • Provide advice, support and guidance to the businesses on treasury related issues.
  • Manage Performance Bonds and other contingency arrangements for the Group.
  • Collaborate with the GM – Treasury & Risk on bank and rating agency relationships, M&A, strategy and long-term funding.

About you:
You are likely to be tertiary qualified in Finance, Accounting, Economics and or have a relevant professional qualification with 5-10 years demonstrated experience in a financial services or corporate treasury role.  This will be coupled with a customer-centric approach, strong verbal and interpersonal skills, and a strong understanding of legal and compliance requirements related to treasury matters. Proficiency in Excel modelling is also required.
