About the Role
We currently have a vacancy for a Driver/Storeperson at our Albury (Thurgoona) facility. In this role you will be responsible for optimising the warehouse processes & providing excellent standards of customer service. Your primary responsibilities will include picking, packing and despatching goods to Laminex customers, as well as receiving goods into store. You will be responsible for loading and unloading both local and interstate fleet. You will also be required to identify and report any distribution issues as they arise.

About You:
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills/ experience:
  • At least 1 years’ experience in a Distribution environment
  • Experienced and competent in storing and packing of goods and materials in accordance with appropriate procedures/regulations
  • Confident in performing cycle counts and maintaining records
  • The ability to measure accurately using meters and gauges.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • A strong team ethic with the ability to understand and follow clear direction. 
  • Self-motivated and confident working with minimal supervision. 
  • Good computer literacy – intermediate as a minimum.
  • A current forklift licence is essential, with at 1 years’ experience driving a forklift
 
Role you’ll play: 
Working shifts – Monday to Friday (38 hours per week with some overtime as required)
 
  • Required Experience or Skills:
  • Minimum 12 months experience in a similar role
  • Current LF Forklift license
  • Current HR/HC Drivers license
  • Must be computer literate 
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Must be able to work autonomously and under low supervision 
  • Physically fit and ability to safely perform manual handling / lifting
  • Extremely safety conscious and proactive
