Description

Our central Distribution Centre in Māngere supports our Auckland metropolitan, regional, and national customers with hundreds of deliveries of Mico products every day. We’re looking for someone to join our team, and we’re open to people who are keen to get a start in the industry.

This is a varied, hands-on role where you’ll work closely with a supportive team to keep our operations running smoothly. You’ll be responsible for accurately picking and packing outbound orders, checking and receipting incoming goods, devanning containers, safely loading and unloading delivery trucks and coordinate dispatch.

Permanent full-time role based at Mico Distribution Centre located in Mangere offering 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.
 
About You: 
To succeed in this role, you’ll be enthusiastic, reliable, and have strong attention to detail with good numeracy skills. You’ll stay calm under pressure and be physically fit, ready to jump in wherever needed with a positive, team player attitude. Don’t worry if you don’t have all the skills yet as we’re happy to train the right person who brings a great attitude and a willingness to learn.

  • Strong work ethic and an approachable, down-to-earth attitude
  • Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting and manual handling
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Great attention to detail, with good numeracy and clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident using technology 
  • Full NZ Class 1 drivers’ licence is preferrable
