Fletcher Building

We have a requirement for a Maintenance Fitter/Welder, supporting our asset maintenance programme of work.

You’ll be responsible for general maintenance. The day-to-day tasks of this role will include reading plans, plant improvements, plant safety, screen changes and mechanical maintenance work during operation and after shut down. 

 To be successful for this role you will need to have: 

• Minimum 5 years exp as either a fitter, fitter turner or fitter welder etc.
• A full New Zealand driver’s licence (class 2 is an advantage)
• A welding ticket is an advantage as is confined space and working at heights
• Health and safety awareness
• Right to work in New Zealand

 You’ll have strong communication skills and be able to work under pressure. You will be solutions focused and prepared to work outside no matter what the weather’s like.
