Working 5 days a week, you’ll be part of our vital front line team at our Kaiapoi, Christchurch branch and will be responsible for delivering excellent service to our customers when they come through our yard and drive thru/pick up area. Your energetic, outgoing nature and eye for detail will help you to ensure that our customers are receiving prompt, efficient service and sound advice while keeping safety at the forefront.
You will be dealing with our building and trade customer base, your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting within the yard, providing product advice when required
- Processing customer orders and transactions
- Picking orders, monitoring inventory and cycle counts
- Loading of goods on to customer vehicles
- Assisting as directed to ensure an efficient yard/drive thru is maintained
Work schedule is Tuesday to Saturday, 8.30 am to 5.30 pm
You will have a good work ethic and a high level of enthusiasm and drive. You will be flexible, willing to help and go the extra mile for our customers and your team mates. At times this is a physically demanding job which will see you both inside and outside the store and so it will appeal to someone who is physically fit and likes the idea of being active. You must have a full class 1 licence in order to apply. A forklift licence would also be useful but this is something we can assist with. While previous building or warehousing experience would be an advantage, what matters more is your positive attitude and willingness to learn.
