The Role:
The Yard & Drive-thru Team leader position is responsible for ensuring that this department thrives and exceeds set goals all while maintaining a fantastic team culture and safety focus.

You will achieve this by:
  • Working alongside a team of 7-8 driving helping to provide exceptional service
  • Leading the yard & drive thru department to ensure an efficient warehouse is maintained
  • Managing team workload to ensure customer delivery and collections are ready in time
  • Actively working to ensure the safety of your team, our customers and the department
  • Motivation the team to achieve operational excellence
  • Maintaining world class employee engagement and safety standards
  • Assisting the Inventory Controller with maintaining stock levels and accuracy
  • Working with other department leaders to ensure seamless service

About you:
We’re looking for someone with a passion for leadership who can implement systems and processes to ensure that we continue to be the leading supplier for building materials. To be successful you will need to build and maintain effective relationships with teammates and customers by being solutions focused.

Skills and Experience:
  • Fit & healthy (regular manual handling is a requirement of the role)
  • Leadership experience: Similar leadership role – or demonstrable ability to motivate others
  • Clearly influences internal and external stakeholders to achieve goals KPI
  • Experience in providing exceptional customer service
  • Can innovate systems and processes to take the department to the next level
  • Health & Safety Knowledge and Experience
  • Excellent communication skills

This is a permanent full-time role, offering 45 hours a week. Working Monday to Friday with plenty of training and support.
