About the Role:
As a Mandarin-speaking Yard & Drive Thru Team Member, you’ll be the trusted expert our Asian Trade customers rely on. You’ll provide hands-on support and assistance, deliver tailored product advice, load vehicles and help to create a customer experience that keeps them coming back.
  • Assist & recommend products that suit the needs and preferences of every customer
  • Pick, assemble, and process orders and transactions 
  • Load and unload customer vehicles, delivery vans, and supplier trucks
  • Monitor inventory levels, complete cycle counts and stock replenishment
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised yard through general housekeeping
  • Operate a Forklift 

This is a Fixed-Term, 6-month role based at our Silverdale branch, working Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (Wednesdays & Sundays off)

About You: 
To succeed in this role, you’ll be someone who’s friendly, dependable, and physically fit. Fluent in both Mandarin and English, you’ll be ready to jump in whenever needed and always put customers at the heart of everything you do.
  • Strong work ethic and an approachable, down-to-earth attitude
  • Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting and manual handling
  • Fluent in both Mandarin and English (verbal & written)
  • Full NZ Class 1 drivers’ licence is essential 
  • Forklift experience with F endorsement
  • Previous experience in a similar customer-facing or warehousing role
  • Knowledge of building products or the construction industry is preferred
