About the Job: 
We are looking for someone who is technically skilled in operating mobile plant (forklift and combilift) to help us in our drive thru and yard. While the role is to provide customer solutions it also requires being able to operate mobile plant on a technically challenging site all while strictly adhering to health and safety policies and procedures. This is a full-time role, 45 Hours per week Monday to Friday. It is based in a busy department that handles multiple functions of the business. 
  • Serving customer efficiently on demand
  • Daily use of a forklift or combilift to unload supplier trucks and load customer vehicle
  • Customer service & sales (mostly B2B)
  • Order make-up - Compiling and checking orders to ensure we meet our customers’ expectations 
  • Re-stocking, organize stock holdings and cycle counting
  • Retrieval of stock for order make up

About you:
You will be a people person who is solution focused and who thrives on building rapport with the team and our customers. Required Skills Qualifications:
  • Exceptional customer services skills
  • NZ Full, Clean, Class 1 Drivers Licence (or higher)
  • Previous mobile plant experience (this is a technically challenging forklift site)
  • Fit and healthy: Role is physically demanding and requires frequent heavy lifting
  • Motivated, self-driven and able to work independently 
  • Organizational skills - Proactive and able to think on your feet and under pressure
  • Must have a strong health and safety focus. Safety is a core value for our company, so it is essential that you take safety seriously and have the drive to use safe practices within the workplace.
  • The legal right to work in full time/permanent employment within New Zealand indefinitely
