Description

We have an exciting role that has opened in our yard & drive thru team. The role is in customer service as one of the senior powered lifting operators (forklift or combilift). The role is based in a busy department that handles multiple functions of the business. 

Tasks include;
  • Customer service & sales
  • Order make-up
  • Re-stocking and organize stock holdings
  • Retrieval of stock for order make up
  • Daily use of a forklift or combi lift to unload supplier trucks and load customer vehicles

To be successful you will need to build and maintain effective relationships with customers by being solutions focused. Safety is a core value for our company, so it is essential that you take safety seriously. 

Skills, Experience & Attributes Required:
  • Physically fit (regular heavy lifting required)
  • Full current NZ Drivers Licence
  • Previous forklift experience (this is a technically challenging forklift site)
  • Proven experience in a customer service and/or retail sales environment
  • Motivated, self-driven and able to work independently 
  • Proactive and able to think on your feet and under pressure
  • Organizational skills
  • Knowledge of and a desire to use safe practices within the workplace.
