We are team Iplex - we’re over 230 team members strong and are a leading manufacturer and supplier of plastic pipeline systems in New Zealand.  We have team members working in manufacturing and distribution in Palmerston North, Christchurch and Ashburton, with our commercial head office based in Auckland.  

About the role:
We are looking for a Yard Operator to join our busy yard, based at our Roslyn site in Palmerston North. You’ll be part of our vital team, responsible for providing accurate and efficient picking, packing and loading and unloading of trucks. You’ll be operating a Forklift as well as keeping the yard tidy and orderly.  This role also involves supporting inventory management and conducting stock counts.

This is a Monday to Friday position, working in shift rotations. 

There is also optional Sunday work from approx. 6am - 11am (overtime rates apply).

WEEK 1:    5:45 AM - 15:15 PM
WEEK 2:    5:15 PM - 01:15 AM

About you:
You’ll need to be physically fit and be comfortable working in all weather conditions. Although a current Forklift License would be advantageous, it is not essential as we can provide appropriate training. 

What you will need is:
A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
You’re reliable, organised and responsive to the team’s needs.
Previous warehousing experience advantageous.
Good verbal, written, numerical skills and computer skills.
Some experience on a forklift would be beneficial but training will be provided.

You will need to have a pre-employment medical, including a drug & alcohol test, is required as well as the legal right to work in New Zealand.
