Description

Join the dedicated team at PlaceMakers Queenstown and help us deliver exceptional customer service. We are seeking an Operational Team Member for our Yard and Drive thru area, supporting a fast paced, trade focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service and build strong customer relationships
  • Process sales and returns accurately and efficiently
  • Order-make-up for delivery and collection
  • Load goods onto customer vehicles (via manual handling)
  • Respond to product, pricing, and availability enquiries
  • Re stock and maintain organised inventory holdings
  • Support stock accuracy through regular cycle counts
  • Adhere to all health and safety procedures
  • Operate forklift or combi-lift to unload supplier trucks and load customer vehicles
  • Safely operate machinery on a technically challenging site

This is a permanent full-time role, offering 40-45 hours a week, Monday-Friday  

About You:
You thrive in a customer focused environment and enjoy building positive relationships. You are solutions focused, adaptable, and able to think proactively under pressure.
You will also bring:
  • Strong customer service skills
  • A full, clean Class 1 driver licence (or higher)
  • Forklift licence/experience is advantageous, but we can provide full training
  • A good level of physical fitness; This is a physically challenging role with frequent heavy lifting required every day. 
  • Competent computer and numeracy skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • A strong commitment to health and safety
