Kapiti branch is busy! and with new and existing projects on the go we are increasing our Barrier teams and are on the hunt for an experience Barrier Foreperson.

The role offers variety, autonomy and a few unique challenges thrown in along the way? 

We are looking for someone with experience within the construction, roading and/or infrastructure industries, we offer not just a job but the support of a company that knows how important their Teams are in delivering what we do best – roading and infrastructure.

You will be committed to a safety-first culture and be able to lead and mentor your Teams towards excellence. 

Key responsibilities:
• Leading and motivating your team
• Assisting with planning, logistics and QA duties 
• Conduct site inductions and competency assessments
• Complete daily H&S documentation and ensure internal processes are followed
• Ensure daily productivity targets are met
• Crew Development – Training of staff on all aspects of drainage construction work

It goes without saying you will have:
• Previous experience in constructing barriers
• Appropriate licences and competent in use (Class 1-4, WTR)
• Ability to work with crews and foster a winning culture 
• A high level of physical fitness
• Reliable, honest team player who leads from the front
