PILETECH is the pre-eminent screw piling contractor in New Zealand.  We achieve this status by having the best designers, importing high quality materials, tailor make piles for each job, and install them ourselves with our rigs. By being the best, we are now challenging conventional foundation solutions in commercial and industrial sectors, and even the infrastructure too. 

We need a NEW BUSINESS ENGINEER to help tender/estimate work by working between our client’s, the designers, and the main contractors.

What will you be doing at PILETECH?

Part of the work winning team, you will work with the New Business Manager, by:
Preparing tender documentation, cost estimates and develop design solution.
Actively following up on prospective leads by interfacing with a diverse range of clients.
Undertaking marketing initiatives such as presentations, blogging & even research initiatives.
Work with the operations teams to handover all the new work you’ve won – including foreman & engineers.

What is PILETECH looking for in the successful candidate?

You can build relationships, juggle an abundance of work, and enjoy helping your Clients.
You can show initiative, listen, grab the bull by the horns, and win work.
Estimating experience is ideal.  Being an engineer with on-site experience may help too.

Some other key skills:

Effective communication skills and the ability to interface across all levels, including strong written capabilities.
Commercially aware, whilst maintaining focus on ensuring high levels of customer service. 
The ability to ‘listen’ and ‘interpret’ information in many forms and see the big picture.
