While terrace houses will remain a key component of the market for new home builds, there’s a growing demand for higher density homes to help address population growth and affordability in Auckland.
We’ve launched a dedicated business unit to manage the planning, delivery and sale of our Auckland-based apartments projects. We have several projects already in the pipeline, some of which will be developed within our existing communities, while others will be on newly acquired sites. This is an exciting opportunity to help establish and drive the apartments business.

About the Role
As a Senior Development Manager in the Apartments Division, you will be instrumental in the overall strategy and delivery of Apartment projects from feasibility through to handover on completion . The position requires coordination and management of a range of activities including initial market research, master planning and massing, briefing and building of consultant teams, internal delivery team and the successful management of these teams through the design, permitting and delivery stages of the project. A key responsibility will also be the coaching, management, and line reporting for an internal project team including Development Manager(s), Design Managers, Cost Managers and Project Manager(s) and Associate Development Manager(s).
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about apartments, from a Sales & Marketing strategy perspective right through to Delivery. We need someone who is interested in exploring world class solutions and is skilled at dealing with multiple stakeholders. This will be a key role in terms of contributing to the overall growth strategy, of which a major focus is the customer engagement. You will ideally be degree qualified, with extensive experience in Residential or mixed-use community projects. An innovative thinker with an interest in progression through the expanding business would be a good fit for the team we have in place currently.
