Working Monday - Friday with a rostered Saturday, you’ll be part of our vital front-line team and responsible for the provision of excellent service for our customers. You will be a people person thriving most when supporting our customers so they get a winning in-store experience. You will build and maintain effective relationships with them by being solutions focused, offering product support and technical information. Your energetic, outgoing nature and eye for detail will help you to ensure that our customers are receiving prompt, efficient service and sound advice.

Dealing primarily with our building and trade customer base, your key responsibilities will include:

Direct sales with customers, getting orders pulled and ready for dispatch, merchandising and maintaining aisles within the showroom
Assisting trade customers within the yard and drive thru area, providing product advice when required
Assisting with stock takes and dispatch
Loading of goods on to customer vehicles
Assisting the Trade/Yard Manager as directed to ensure an efficient warehouse is maintained

The ideal applicant will have previous experience in either the construction or building products industry, preferably with sales experience. 

The role will involve a fair amount of heavy lifting, so you will need to be physically fit and healthy. Although a forklift licence is not required as appropriate training will be provided, a clean full driver’s licence is essential.

While previous industry or trade related experience would be an advantage, what matters more is your positive attitude and willingness to learn.
