We are on the lookout for a Maintenance Fitter to join our business in Auckland. Reporting into the Maintenance Team Leader, you will be responsible for breakdowns, preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance at our Auckland sites, to both a safe and efficient standard. Key tasks include;

  • Identify and fix faults and take action to eliminate future breakdown
  • Reduce downtime and improve plant reliability 
  • Ensuring all work under your responsibility is carried out in a timely and tidy manner 
  • Continuous training to ensure both technical and safety skills are kept current 

To be successful you will;

  • Experienced within fitting, tool-making, trade skills, welding and pneumatic's
  • Have limited Electrical Certification (desirable)
  • Exceed in a high-pressured environment 
  • Be goal oriented and always looking to exceed targets 
  • Be trusted to work autonomously and managed remotely 
  • Be willing to work on call and work additional overtime as required 
  • Confident working with, and managing our 3rd party contractors
  • Be computer literate and keen to learn the systems we use (MEX).
