About the role
We are looking for a National Health & Safety Manager to lead and deliver the Health & Safety (H&S) goals of the business. As part of a culture change regarding safety behaviours and attitudes, we have substantially invested in our safety leadership framework and learning tools to better educate our people on safety processes and behaviours. This role is a key enabler to lead this step-change in safety culture and will make sure it is applied in a meaningful way across our manufacturing and distribution sites.
A natural leader and influencer, you will find common ground with all levels of the business, from our frontline people in manufacturing and distribution to the senior leadership team. You are confident and not afraid to introduce change and new ways of doing things. You can clearly and simply articulate H&S strategy and how to achieve it while getting buy-in from key stakeholders and staff. You will need to demonstrate a track record of leading H&S in complex manufacturing/distribution operations previously and hold relevant tertiary qualifications in this field.
