An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced leader to join our internal Construction Talent Acquisition team. This will oversee a team of who 5 who support all the brands under the Fletcher Construction & Higgins umbrella.
About the Role
Reporting to the Group Talent, Learning & Development Manager you will lead a team of recruitment and sourcing specialists who focus on sourcing the best construction talent in the market place whilst providing a high level of service to our internal key stakeholders. Our Talent Acquisition function is a strategic business partner within our organisation, we work closely with our business units to drive best practice in recruitment & talent management. Your role will be to create, articulate and drive the recruitment strategy for the Construction division, through harnessing the power of our highly capable team.
You will be a well-respected and experienced leader who is seeking a new challenge. Our environment is fast moving, dynamic and complex and this role will offer you the opportunity to really make your mark and be seen by key stakeholders within our Construction division. You will lead by example in forging solid and trusted relationships with key stakeholders and establishing strong networks. Driven, motivated and customer-centric, you will have a determined mind-set to get successful results and part of that will be challenging the status quo. With exemplary relationship management skills as well as strong influencing and negotiation skills, you will be comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels to ensure we attract and select the best talent in the industry. You will bring strong commercial acumen and will be adept with utilising data and analytics to ensure we are driving efficiencies and leveraging our scale across the organisation.
Internal recruitment experience is preferred, however experience in the Construction sector isn’t essential, although what would be advantageous as is some understanding of the nature of the roles that the team recruit. In the absence of experience in the construction space, a genuine interest for the industry is a must; our team are very passionate about what they do and take any opportunity they get to grab their hi-vis and safety boots and join the teams out on site or work out in the branches. Our team operate in a fast-paced, agile environment, so you will ensure the environment is focused on supporting and developing the team, whilst delivering to our business.
