To continue to drive growth, we are seeking a driven Sales Business Partner who understands our customer base, can drive and develop new customer relationships and deliver on set revenue targets.


Based in Palmerston North and reporting to our Central Region Sales Manager, this role assumes responsibility for significantly contributing to the success of our business in the wider market. You’ll be working with a strong brand - our structure is lean, fit for purpose and set up to provide you with the base to truly perform.


In this role you will be responsible for developing and maintaining on-going productive business relationships in both the Trade and merchant market with the likes of Placemakers, alongside the Specification market. You will be up to date with current trends and share these with your valued customers.  In the Trade market your sales skills will be on top form as you reach set targets with ease and hunt for new business opportunities.


To excel in this role, you will be proven as a relationship/territory representative (a joinery or kitchen background would be a bonus), experienced managing a call cycle, be customer-centric and have talent for qualifying and developing business opportunities. Your personal credibility will lie in honesty and working with integrity, you effectively organise and plan your time and develop and implement sales growth plans. Inherently you possess personal drive and determination to achieve stretch goals and targets that will ensure your success. You will need to be tenacious and resilient with a positive outlook and natural ability to build strong relationships and influence key stakeholders. They key to success in this role is your customer focus - you will also need to have a strong personal presence, drive, integrity and an eye for potential business opportunities.


We’re not hung up on what kind of background you have. You don’t have to be in the building or interiors industry, but industry experience would assist in understanding the role. You’ll need exceptional communication skills, computer literacy and able to work well in a small team environment.
