The Role and About You
Winstone Wallboards is going through a large-scale project to relocate its Auckland manufacturing plant to Tauranga. To support this, we have opportunities for experienced Technical Writers to join our team in Auckland over the next 2 years.  This is an exciting opportunity to support the upskilling of our workforce, by developing learning materials for the new manufacturing plant.

Reporting to the Learning and Development Project Manager, you will need to have experience building relationships with subject matter experts, converting complex information into short, easy to read instructions and creating easy to use technical training for our front line staff.

This is an exciting project to be a part of for someone who has at least 2 – 3 years’ experience in a Learning Design or Technical Writer role.  You will possess a natural passion for writing content, in particular SOP writing in a manufacturing environment.  The role requires you to communicate from our operations to our engineering staff, so having the ability to communicate across all levels is a must!
