About the Role
Our Area Sales Managers play a crucial role in the success of our Branch Network! Your key accountability will be the management of an existing portfolio of customers including SME Builders and Network Plumbers to maintain their business and increase spend whilst also hunting for the next big customer. This is an autonomous role that will see you meet customers on site, partner with managers within our branch network and develop and execute business plans in collaboration with your Regional Manager. We provide our Area Sales Managers with great support and career opportunities across both our sales and leadership functions.
Our Area Sales Managers typically have a background in sales, leadership or customer service functions within the plumbing or building supplies industries. Experience in a similar role does not always indicate success, we want to speak with candidates who are ambitious, passionate about customer service and who can work autonomously. Exceptional organisational skills, a collaborative approach to achieving budgets or business goals and the ability effectively communicate in both written and verbal formats will be essential to your long-term success!
