About the role
As a Functional Business Analyst this role is responsible for implementing new and improved functionalities of Fletcher Building’s People and Performance (HR) Systems . Your primary focus being Workday. This entails requirements gathering in consultation with all relevant stakeholder groups, designing new and improved processes, fully documenting designs, completing system configuration and developing test plans. The role will complete readiness checks (post testing), develop training collaterals, deliver training (as required), and establish support processes for successful deployment.

The role supports the Solutions Leads in partnering with business SMEs to research best practice use of the available functionality and recommend improvement ideas to solve business problems.  You'll also be responsible for providing Level 1/2 technical support to end users, responding to incidents and service requests, and consulting with system vendors for issues escalations. You'll be part of system releases, being responsible for testing the new functionalities.  

This role is part of IT division (Group Technology) and works very closely with our HR community as key stakeholders. 

About you
To be considered you will have proven experience leading and scoping projects/programmes of work with multiple dependencies.  Your expertise in business analysis techniques to elicit, analyse, communicate and document requirements will be second to none, as will your ability to process map, process re-engineer and test plan, including functional and user acceptance testing.  Excellent training development and delivery, stakeholder and relationship management will see you succeed.  Knowledge of HR functional areas, HR systems and SaaS experience is a must. Experience using and understanding Workday is highly advantageous.
