An exciting opportunity exists for a Specification Business Partner, based in Auckland. This position plays a key role in influencing & collaborating with architects, specifiers, designers, and key decision makers about our extensive products - contributing significantly to the success of our business in the Auckland market.

You will be joining a company with manufacturing facilities throughout New Zealand – priding itself on supporting the NZ building industry with strong industry associations and memberships. With one of the country’s best distribution networks, Laminex NZ has branches throughout NZ ensuring the highest level of local support and service to our customers. You’ll have the support of a team that pride themselves on their comradery and great culture, with opportunities to get involved in internal training and development. 

Working closely with architects, specifiers, developers, project managers and designers, you will be developing and maintaining on-going productive business relationships. You will also be responsible for maximising awareness of our products and providing advice and support across the residential, commercial, hospitality, shop fitting and development markets. This role will see you attending and organising multiple industry events to ensure you are up to date with current trends, enabling you to share these with your valued customers.  

To excel in this role, you will need to have experience in account management, business development or sales. Experience within the building, architectural and design industries would be advantageous. You will need to be tenacious and resilient with a natural ability to build strong relationships and influence key stakeholders. You will also need to have a strong personal presence, drive, integrity and an eye for potential business opportunities. It will be an advantage for you to have exceptional presentation skills both in one on one situations and group scenarios.
