About the opportunity
The Manager – Information Management (IM) is an exciting role leading the New Zealand IM Development Team and setting the future direction of IM for Fletcher Building. In this role, you will have ownership of the technical environment including data design and associated movement of data between sources as well as administration of on-premise BI and data migration tools.
By working closely with our customers, you will have a sound understanding of their pain points and where they can improve. With this, you and your team can help develop solutions that are pragmatic, fit-for-purpose, and are scalable for our businesses. IM is still relatively new for our organisation and this means an opportunity for you to bring your experience and expertise to add value and help us realise how powerful data can be.
We are looking for proven capability in leading a high-performing team and expertise in Information Management. You’re good at building relationships in a complex environment like Fletcher Building which has some 30 different business units in Australia and NZ and the South Pacific operating across manufacturing, distribution, and construction.
To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with:
- Deep knowledge of BI/Analytics/Visualisation Platforms. Qlik Sense is ideal but not required.
- Proven leadership experience - able to lead and engage teams effectively through clear direction and building strong relationships.
- The ability to drive and deliver meaningful insights to stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset and delivery skills.
- Business acumen and pragmatism.
