The Role / About You
We have great opportunities for Site and Project engineers with experience of complex Temporary Works, structures and marine works. Ideal candidates should have at least four years’ post-grad site or project-based exposure within the contracting sector and a desire to continue  developing their experience.

You will be involved in a complex marine project within the Wellington Harbour or an equally complex bridge construction project within the Greater Wellington Religion, both with demanding Temporary Works requirements. This includes responsibility for a wide range of project requirements, from commercial management to project planning, risk management, and safely delivering a quality product within budget and critical timeframes.

We are looking for someone with experience in temporary works construction and or planning, marine infrastructure works, reinforced concrete, bridge construction and/or piling, with strong suites in project engineering and onsite project delivery. You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills which will allow you to proactively supervise and monitor staff and sub trades to deliver work on programme. You will have good planning skills and the ability to effectively collaborate and communicate to deal with a range of site-based challenges as a result of your ability to facilitate innovative and cost-effective solutions.

Your commitment to ensuring the highest standards of Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality management will be a strength. This role, in terms of career development, leads towards the position of Construction or Project Manager, and so this is something you will have in a career forecast.

Make a difference to our business and advance your career.  At Brian Perry Civil you will enjoy the benefits and recognition of working for a well-respected business unit within the Fletcher Building Group. Along with a competitive remuneration package, this opportunity will also be an idea platform for high performers to be ‘seen’ within the group.
