Help us build New Zealand! PlaceMakers is New Zealand’s leading and largest supplier of building materials to New Zealand’s commercial and residential construction markets. We employ more than 2,400 people in over 60 locations across the country and stock more than 100,000 product lines from concrete to paint and plasterboard.
Working scheduled hours Monday – Friday 7am to 4pm, you will be responsible for accurately checking and receipting product within our inwards goods area. This will include utilising our internal systems and digital technology to track and log daily deliveries, returns to suppliers, inventory housekeeping, managing cycle (stocktakes) counts, organising and improving our internal processes, managing special orders while ensuring effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
You enjoy working as part of a busy team within a fast-paced environment and building rapport with everyone you interact with. With proven inventory knowledge, you have good computer skills and excellent organisational skills along with the following –
• Serving customers and providing product advice
• Positive and enthusiastic attitude
• Strong eye for detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Solid Health and safety values as you will play an active part in our commitment to providing a safe work environment at all times.
You will hold a Full NZ Drivers Licence.
