About the opportunity 

We are currently looking for a Business Systems Analyst.  Based at our Penrose Corporate Head Office, you will be joining our Manufacturing and Finance Applications team.  The team delivers JDE and other system enhancements which provide operational efficiencies to the business units. Ideally you’ll be an expert in one or more areas of JD Edwards 9.2 enterprise systems and other associated business applications.  Reporting to the Manufacturing and Finance NZ Manager, you’ll be a key person in any new development activities for system and business process changes. The role is responsible for providing support and resolution to business issues and defining, analysing, modelling, and configuring and documenting the requirements for system changes.  In addition you’ll assist with Help Desk queries.

You’ll manage the implementation of enhancements and deliver training to affected stakeholders where appropriate.  You’ll also prepare technical and functional specifications to support system developments and assist with developing test scripts and integrated test plans. 

About you

This will be coupled with experience working on large scale implementations, ideally within a manufacturing, distribution or supply chain organisation. 

Your problem solving and data analysis skills will be exemplary and your communication and interpersonal skills will be second to none.  You’ll utilise your BA skills and enjoy talking to people and helping our business unit customers.  Demonstrable knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) operating model, e.g. Waterfall, Agile is needed.
