Firth operates in every region across New Zealand and employs over 650 team members, across 80 sites.
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our team with the opportunity to work with the latest technology in masonry manufacturing at our plant in Hunua, Auckland.
This is a permanent role where you be responsible for overseeing the operation of the plant and processes to produce Masonry products to specification. You will be involved in the setting up of moulds, ensuring the finished product is effectively moved through the yard and necessary administration is completed. As well as being responsible for maintaining consistent levels of quality in order to achieve the plant's planned production schedule minimise production downtime & maximise utilisation and capability of plant, machinery, and people. You will also supervise the daily management of operational staff time & attendance, adherence to quality standards, and daily data collection.
This a varied role where you will have a number of direct reports therefore previous team leader experience and leadership skills are preferable along with strong communication skills in order to build relationships with a wide range of internal stakeholders.
