About the role
The primary objective of Group Technology delivery is to provide project delivery support and oversight to business units within the group. This support is provided from a pool of project management and technology professionals.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Co-ordinator to join the team on a 6 month fixed term contract, covering maternity leave.
You’ll be responsible for governance of projects in a portfolio/supporting Senior Project Managers and Head of IT to ensure that projects meet their objectives. This includes setting management processes, monitoring project delivery and completion of necessary project level reporting. You’ll also have responsibility for directly managing small projects and accountability for achieving the agreed project objectives.
To be considered you’ll hold a tertiary qualification and you’ll be hungry to learn! Ideally you will have some Project Co-ordination experience within an IT setting. We are also open to considering a recent graduate for this position, ideally with some commercial experience, who has the attitude and aptitude to grasp new concepts quickly and add value in a short period of time.
This is a great foot-in-the-door opportunity where you’ll get excellent exposure to a number of different IT projects, learning from experienced senior GT Managers.
