About the Role:
The Rocla engineering team is well respected in the industry and you will be a part of an experienced team of professionals tasked with providing engineering designs, drawings and advice to enable the business to specify, sell and manufacture it’s range of specialised products into the telecommunications and infrastructure industry.  The Rocla engineering team are relied upon to provide designs and advice in a timely manner, in line with internal Design Manuals, Australian Standards and ensuring that design output is in line with internal and external client’s requirements. 
The role will focus on analysis, design, detailing, drafting and provision of engineering advice to our internal manufacturing customers as well as review and certification activities of our extensive range of spun reinforced concrete poles, piles and column products.

About You:
The ideal candidate will have the following skills/ experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years in Civil / Structural design in similar field
  • Experienced with analysis software, AutoCAD and MS applications.
  • Experienced with key Australian Standards related to the civil Infrastructure and telecommunications sector.
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team in a professional manner
  • Attention to detail
  • Results driven and able to work under pressure
  • Able to work autonomously


  • Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)
  • Member of Engineers Australia
  • CPeng (desirable)
