National Sales & Technical Manager - Humes

We are a standalone business within the Building Products division of the Fletcher Building Group and are experiencing significant growth across all areas of our business.

This National Sales and Technical Manager role will see you delivering on the sales and technical goals of the business through strong customer partnerships, executed by high-performing teams. To succeed at this role you will do so through the effective translation of strategies into practice to ensure the achievement of agreed business targets relating to customer metrics, team performance, growth/improvement projects and overall business performance.

Leading a direct team of 3 regional sales managers and a national technical manager, along with indirectly a team of nearly 50, you will be a proven technical sales leader with a history of developing high-performing people that consistently deliver on the goals of the business.

It is expected you will have proven experience and expertise in excellent sales practices, solid technical aptitude within the broader construction-related industry, and a track record in delivering commercial outcomes. You will be able to demonstrate significant experience setting strategy, direction, and performance for related products and services and have a track record for ensuring sustainable growth through effective pricing strategies to achieve commercial outcomes.
