The opportunity
Our Higgins Green Team in Taupo have an amazing opportunity for a Bitumen Sprayer Operator Trainee to join their team and grow your career!

This is a rare opportunity for you to use your current skills and advance to become tanker operator as all training will be provided.  To do this you will be confident driving in all conditions, you will have a clean driving record and have a strong focus on safety.  You’ll also have some industry knowledge and skill but most importantly you’ll have the desire to grow in a leadership role and be keen to train, learn and advance.  

This role is key in enabling our Teams to deliver on what we do best – roading and infrastructure.

If you are looking for a change now is the time to take action! This is what we think you will need to be successful in this role:

  • Full clean New Zealand driver’s licence, Class 2 ideal but not essential 
  • Some industry knowledge and skill
  • A desire to grow in a leadership role
  • Be keen to train, learn and advance
  • Be self-motivated with a positive attitude and the ability to think for yourself.
  • Be a reliable, honest and flexible team-player
