As the Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day to day delivery of maintenance services and traffic management out in the field and will be the primary day to day contact with the Auckland Transport Operations Centre regarding maintenance operations, traffic management and incident response.  You’ll also plan, coordinate and direct resources from management through to field staff and subcontractors to ensure all work is executed to standard with a strong focus on Health, Safety, Quality and Environment.

What you’ll bring to the role:
  • Strong safety leadership and knowledge of implementing operational site safety requirements of Tier 1 Project sites
  • Extensive experience in a senior supervisory role on a highway maintenance contract
  • Highway operation and maintenance service delivery including incident response and management, liaison with emergency services
  • Traffic Management STMS Level 2/3 Practicing or STMS A,B,C Category Practicing
  • CIMS Level 4
  • Relevant and current safety qualifications, such as Construct Safe, Site Safe Passport
