We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Asset Management and Maintenance Engineer to join the Maintenance JV Team working on the Ara Tūhono Pūhoi to Warkworth project which will extend the Northern SH1 18.5km from the Johnstones Hill Tunnels. As the technical lead for Asset Management, Maintenance Management and Quality for the project you will manage the Asset Management and Maintenance scheduling, the Road Asset Maintenance Management database and conduct and champion the quality system. You’ll also manage minimum asset criteria/maintenance compliance, response times and record asset data, asset condition rating and maintenance actions.

What you’ll bring to the role:
• Bachelor of Engineering or other relevant Tertiary qualifications desired
• Road Assessment Maintenance Management experience
• Proven asset management and maintenance operational experience within a large performance or relationship-based contract.
• Highway operation and maintenance experience in high density traffic areas
• Experience with RAMM
• Strong communication and ability to build and maintain relationships
• Ability to work an on-call roster and meet call out response times
