We have an exciting opportunity available for a Maintenance Worker to join the Green Team working on the Ara Tūhono Pūhoi to Warkworth project which will extend the Northern SH1 18.5km from the Johnstones Hill Tunnels.  Take a look at latest drone flyover footage to get an insight into the project here:

Your main responsibility will be maintenance work and there will be a daily drive over inspections, litter pick up, graffiti removal as maintenance of signs and barriers.  You will also attend to culverts, drainage systems, landscape planting maintenance and grass mowing that will involve traversing steep slopes regularly.  There is a mixture of day and night shift however being a motorway, much of the work will be done at night.

What you’ll bring to the role:
  • Proficient in the operation of Attenuator Trucks
  • Be able to drive a light maintenance truck up to 8.5T weight
  • Full clean New Zealand Driver’s License, Minimum Class 2
  • A high level of physical fitness due to the physical nature of the role
