Help us build New Zealand!  PlaceMakers is New Zealand's leading and largest supplier of building materials to New Zealand’s commercial and residential construction markets. 


The Role:

Join our PlaceMakers Mangawhai team, working Tuesday to Friday, 10am to 5pm and every Saturday 8am to 1pm. You’ll be part of our vital front-line team and be responsible for delivering excellent service when they come through our yard and drive-thru/pick up area. There will be plenty of variety as you’ll be engaging primarily with our trade customers so a good base knowledge of building products and the broader industry will be required along with the following –

Assisting within the yard, providing product advice when required
Monitoring stock, cycle counts and much more
Loading of goods onto customer vehicles
Assisting the Yard Team Leader as directed to ensure an efficient warehouse is maintained
Operating a Forklift (Training can be provided; however a Full NZ Drivers Licence is essential)

About You:

You enjoy building relationships with customers and you’re quick on your feet to solve any problems and ensure resolution.  You've developed a good amount of product knowledge and can confidently provide advice to customer while still being hungry to learn about new products and you're always on the hunt for the next task to be completed.
