Key focus & responsibilities
 
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for co-ordinating and management of raw materials, finished goods & consumables and ensuring inventory availability levels are maintained with minimum working capital investment.
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Daily review of finished goods stock position, requirements and prompt resolution of issues preventing fulfilment of customer order requirements for purchased and transferred finished goods
  • Assist with daily stores operational functions including, but not limited to, pick and pack, customer OPUs, receivals and receipting of goods
  • Ensure compliance to 5S standards are maintained 
  • Participate in the execution of operational continuous improvement activities as required

This is an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain hero.  You will be a great team player, with a problem solving attitude.  You have a commercial mindset and a keen eye for detail.  You are not afraid to roll your sleeves up to get the job done.  You enjoy making a positive contribution and are a continuous learner.  You are an excellent communicator and thrive on building connections internally and externally.  You can pick up new systems easily and drive key projects around digital process enhancements.
 
We are on the lookout for;

  • An understanding of supply chain concepts 
  • Experience in the area of purchasing and materials planning in manufacturing environment
  • A working knowledge of ERP, particularly MRP
  • Experience in Quality Management Systems
  • Forklift licence
