The Concrete Division comprises Fletcher Building’s aggregate, cement and concrete businesses, employing over 1300 people across three business units.

Winstone Aggregates has over 150 years’ experience in supplying and manufacturing aggregates, operates 13 quarries nationally and provides bulk transportation solutions through Winstone Transport.  

The Role
We’re looking for an individual with a unique set of skills, some may even say we’re looking for a unicorn:  someone who can apply their administrative, logistical and management skills to ensure our General Manager’s day runs smoothly and on time without any glitches.

With no two days the same, you will provide a range of organisational and administrative support, from diary management, travel bookings, meeting co-ordination, through to event planning. Diary management will be a critical aspect to this role; your GM operates at pace and will sometimes veer offtrack, so you will need to have a high level of attention to detail and be proficient in bringing structure to their day. 

The administration element to this role is just one piece to this puzzle; juggling many balls, from organising conferences, social events and administering Winstone Aggregates’ social media page, no job will be too big or too small! Communication is crucial to the success of this role; and the ability to build relationships quickly and effectively with both internal and external stakeholders will be key to ensuring any element of this role is done right.


About You
You will be used to using your exceptional problem solving and decision-making abilities along with a confident, diplomatic approach and intuitive sense of judgement.  Multi-tasking is a must, so you will be the sort of person that always thinks two steps ahead, with a reputation for producing high quality work when the pressure is on. 

You will naturally have a positive, can-do attitude and build rapport with people at all levels of the business. In addition, professionalism, strong organisation skills, excellent attention to detail, and your strong focus on the quality of work will play a key role in the success of this role.
