Fletcher Building is looking for an IT Business Manager to sit within the Group Technology (GT) function, and be responsible for the monitoring, delivery and support of IT services for the Distribution Division.
The New Zealand Distribution Division brings together our retail and distribution chains - PlaceMakers and Mico - and operates as New Zealand's leading and largest supplier of building materials to the local commercial and residential construction markets. The division employs over 3,000 people through more than 130 branches and sites across New Zealand.

About the opportunity
Reporting to the GM IT – Distribution, you will play an active role in both business unit and Group Technology teams ensuring that IT Services are delivered seamlessly and when they aren’t seamless and we encounter problems, you will work alongside GT Teams to get them solved and get our business back up and running.  You’ll roll up your sleeves to provide, oversight and management of IT service performance and identify areas for improvements all the while setting and managing priorities for yourself and others.

You’ll be a great communicator with strong influencing skills and enjoy working in a collaborative environment as this role is largely about effectively managing relationships between our business and IT teams and orchestrating the delivery of IT services by utilising our shared IT capability that not only supports our business units but all of Fletcher Building.
About you
This is a role that would suit someone coming from a Project Delivery or an IT Operations background that might be looking for growth in their career and can demonstrate their:

At least 5 years direct IT work experience including both operational and systems, strategic delivery experience would be advantageous.
