About the Role

As the Receptionist and Campus Support Team Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless day-to-day operation of the corporate head office properties (Campus) in Penrose, Auckland. 

You will assist the Campus Facilities Manager in overseeing the Reception & Campus Support team in the delivery of services to employees onsite, and providing efficient administration and support services to each of the Business Units housed at Fletcher Building Head Office. 

As well as acting as the first point of contact to meet & greet visitors to the Fletcher Building Head Office and providing front line customer service to our visitors, customer, and suppliers, you will also be responsible for supporting the Campus Facilities Manager in the delivery of soft and hard FM services to the Campus. This includes ensuring the operation and maintenance plan is kept up-to-date in relation to future planned maintenance of the Campus and assisting with the management of the budget and finances for the Campus.

About You

We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

  • Demonstrate previous professional experience in a Reception role 
  • Strong leadership and communication skills (written and verbal), relationship building and interpersonal skills 
  • Office administration course or similar at certificate level
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in busy front-line Reception role is desirable
  • High customer service ethic – prompt, responsive, reliable 
  • Ability to manage a busy workload to meet timescales 
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team 
  • Experienced user of MS office suite
