Reporting through to the Supply Chain Manager, the Commercial & Finance Manager brings a unique opportunity to work in a diverse, complex and fast-paced environment. The role is based at our National Office in Penrose where you can enjoy our fabulous on-site café and plenty of free parking!

In recent months we have been through a massive transformation within the business and have grown significantly in size and scale.  We now have the opportunity to take stock of what we need to do in order to set ourselves up for the future, with further growth planned for next year to complete our centralisation project.

The role:
As our Commercial & Finance Manager you will accountable for ensuring the ongoing integrity of the financial processes and systems, insightful reporting and planning. The role also includes supporting the Supply Chain Manager by understanding and monitoring value drivers, providing commercial analytics that drive actions, preparing business cases and subsequent reviews. In this capacity we will be looking for someone who is able to think strategically, use their initiative and be able to look at the bigger picture to figure out how we navigate our way forward from a commercial perspective. 

Basically, we need a superstar who can immerse themselves in what has already been done, improve on it and make their mark!

About you:
The successful candidate will be numbers-driven and offer strong expertise in data engineering and manipulation.  You will be very structured, a strategic thinker, have great attention to detail skills, plus be able to meet deadlines.  A self-starter, you will be highly motivated and have the ability to influence and coach others, bringing people along for the journey.  Being a team player is paramount, as is a background in the financial or commercial space, with any experience in logistics or transport being highly desirable.

We are looking for someone who offers good verbal and written communication skills. You will be able to review costs, identify both gaps and opportunities and enjoy being in a ‘work hard, play hard’ inclusive and fun team!
