About the role
Reporting directly to the Head of Health, Safety & Environment, you will help drive and deliver the Health, Safety & Environmental (Sustainability) strategy, ensuring best practice initiatives and driving cultural change within the organisation. You will be working alongside the business unit to provide advice and support to enable our teams to lead health, safety, environment and wellbeing effectively.
The successful candidate will have a relevant qualification in Health and Safety and/or experience working in a Health and Safety Advisory role and have proven knowledge of Health and Safety legislation. With your region serving Auckland and Northland, you will ideally have experience in a multi-site organisation leading health, safety and/or environment across a large number of people. You will be a strong communicator, excellent problem solver and have the ability to engage people across all levels of the business.
