About the Role

The Project Manager is a key contributor and team member with a range of responsibilities across several developments. Leading the planning, coordination and delivery of land development works (earthworks, civil and infrastructure) and vertical construction (buildings to support industrial land use). Reporting to the Head of Industrial Development, the role requires strong civils, land development, strategic, organizational and commercial skills, excellent communication skills and a willingness to create developments that enhance Fletcher Building’s brand and value expectations by responding to market demands and future trends. Working with the Industrial Development team, the position is responsible for contributing to the assessment of new projects, and engaging and building successful consultant teams, and the successful management of these teams and resources through the permitting, procurement and delivery stages of the project.

About You

We’re seeking someone with proven experience delivering projects and knowledge of property development process. We’re looking for an experienced, influential person with strong relationship skills and the ability to manage multi projects of diffing scale, complexity and at different phases. 
Other relevant qualifications, skills & experience include:

  • Experience in property development, project management, engineering, planning, funds/asset management or real estate agency, ideally in the industrial sector.
  • Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work towards successful outcomes with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exposure to the regulatory consenting process will be highly regarded.
